Client Collaboration & Site Visit

Purpose

The preliminary site visit aims to introduce the development team and collaborate with the client to define the design concept and better understand the context in which the project will be developed. Additionally to gather essential information about the property and assess the site conditions.

• Specific elements to be covered in the site survey (e.g., existing structures, topography, vegetation, utilities).
• Evaluate the property to determine its suitability for an ADU. Consider factors such as lot size, setbacks, existing structures, and neighborhood characteristics. Some areas may have specific requirements regarding the size and placement of ADUs.
